The Law and Prophets

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy (G2647), but to fulfil (G4137). For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law (G3551), till all be fulfilled (G1096). Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments (G1785), and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least (G1646) in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great (G3173) in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matt. 5:17-19)

*G2647 – καταλύωto – loosen down (disintegrate), i.e. (by implication) to demolish (literally or figuratively); specially (compare G2646) to halt for the night. Derivation: from G2596 and G3089; KJV Usage: destroy, dissolve, be guest, lodge, come to nought, overthrow, throw down.

*G4137 – πληρόωto – make replete, i.e. (literally) to cram (a net), level up (a hollow), or (figuratively) to furnish (or imbue, diffuse, influence), satisfy, execute (an office), finish (a period or task), verify (or coincide with a prediction), etc. Derivation: from G4134; KJV Usage: accomplish, X after, (be) complete, end, expire, fill (up), fulfil, (be, make) full (come), fully preach, perfect, supply.

*G3551 – νόμος – law (through the idea of prescriptive usage), genitive case (regulation), specially, (of Moses (including the volume); also of the Gospel), or figuratively (a principle) Derivation: from a primary νέμω (to parcel out, especially food or grazing to animals); KJV Usage: law.

*G1096 – γίνομαιto – cause to be (“gen”-erate), i.e. (reflexively) to become (come into being), used with great latitude (literal, figurative, intensive, etc.)

*G1646 – ἐλάχιστος – used as equivalent to G3398; least (in size, amount, dignity, etc.) Derivation: superlative of ἔλαχυς (short); KJV Usage: least, very little (small), smallest.

*G3173 – μέγας – big (literally or figuratively, in a very wide application)
Derivation: (including the prolonged forms, feminine μεγάλη, plural μεγάλοι, etc.; compare also G3176, G3187); KJV Usage: (+ fear) exceedingly, great(-est), high, large, loud, mighty, + (be) sore (afraid), strong, X to years.

In the dualilty of understanding, the kingdom of heaven is the jurisdictional boundry of the kingdom of God. The universe (heaven) is boundless. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords is soon to return to establish the Kingdom of God here on this earth. (Isaiah 9:6-7, Revelation 20:4-6, 1 Corinthians 15:45-55, John 6:34-40)3
