The building of the “Tower of Babel” is attributed to Nimrod in scripture.

Nimrod was a tyrant rebellious towards God. The tower (stairway to heaven) was an attempt to place himself above God. He is the foundation father of the Mystery Babylon Religion that worships Satan, the rebellious Lucifer who also attempted to elevate himself above God. (Isaiah 14:12-17, Ezekiel 28:11-19, Luke 10:17-20, Revelation 12:7-9) He can even deceive reigion itself! (2 Corinthians 11:14-15)
