The Beasts of Revelation

The beast with seven heads and ten horns in Rev. 13 and 17 is the same beast as in Daniel 7, but Rev. 17 is more descriptive of the harlot that rides it. The seven remaining horns in Dan.7:8 reciprocates to the seven heads in Revelation but have the names of blasphemy written on them. This scarlet colored beast has a woman (church) riding it. The seven heads and ten horns in Revelation represent a different Rome.

The Revelation beast began its reign during the transition period to Papal rule over the Western Roman Empire and was the Church and State Union that reigned over most of Europe during the Dark and Middle Ages. The ten horns and upon his horns ten crowns represents ten power divisions (horns) and sub-kingdoms (crowns) within the empire after the fall of Romulus Augustus in 476 AD. (Lombards, Huns, Heruli, Franks, Burgundians, Saxons, Ostrogoths, Visigoths, Suevi, and Vandals) These Ten Barbarian Tribes were a mingling of descendants from the Assyrians, Lost Ten Tribes of Israel, and descendants from the Tower of Babel. The name Saxons is derived from Isaac’s sons. (Gen. 21:12) [Ten is the link.]

The beast received a deadly wound to one of its heads. (Rev. 3:3) This was when the Pope was imprisoned in 1798 and all the Papal properties confiscated. Pope Pius XI and Mussolini healed the deadly wound in 1929 with the signing of the Lateran Treaty that returned most Papal property and established Vatican City as a sovereign City State. It is now a member of the United Nations. The Pope is Head of Church and State and claims the Catholic Church as the only true Church.

After the End of World War II, the Catholic Church regained most of her lost respect. Most Protestants now respect the Pope and the Mother of Churches. Vatican Council II (1962-65) resolved many differences between the Eastern and Western Orthodox. The goal of the council was the unity of all Christian faiths under the Roman Catholic Church. Today, the Pope is viewed as a great spiritual leader. The Church’s recovery has been a world wonder. Who is able or willing to make war (fight, battle, rebel, or argue) against the ecclesiastical dictates of the infallible Papacy? (Rev. 13:3-4)

The 42 months in Rev. 13:5 is sometimes considered as the 1260 years of Papal rule, but prophetic time (year to a day) isn’t given in months because the number of days can vary from month to month. The 1260 years of Roman Papal rule (538 – 1798 AD) are in Dan. 7:25 and Rev. 12:6 & 12:14 as the wilderness church fleeing the Papacy, and Rev. 11:3 as the Old and New Testaments (olive trees) verse 4). The 1260 years in Rev. 11:3 reciprocates to a literal 42 months or 3.5 years that the two witnesses (candlesticks verse 4) give their testimony, which is a prophetic time yet to come and coincides with the 42 months in Rev 11:2 & 13:5 (false prophet). They are a literal time period of 3.5 years. The prophetic 1260 days (years) in Rev. 11:3 is the Bible’s Old and New Testaments that survived in sackcloth through the dark and middle ages when the Roman Church strictly forbid the common people to possess or have access to the scriptures. The 42 months   or 3.5 year period of the Holy City being trodden under foot, the two witnesses’ testimony with power, and the false prophet’s blasphemy with miracles occur during the last 3.5 years of the final seven seal years.

The Dark Ages of the Holy Roman Empire were bloody indeed. Kings and Princes fulfilled the will of Popes and were often replaced or killed for their disobedience. Countless Jews, Moslems, and defiant Christians who defied the Papacy’s authority were detained, tortured, and then usually murdered. [Waterboarding is foreplay compared to their techniques.] The history of the protestant reformation is packed with the whimsical tyranny of Popes. Past events may be repeated, as history often repeats itself. There was an announcement on CBN July 13, 2007 (Friday) that the Pope had made a statement about the Catholic Church being the only true church and only Catholics would enter heaven. It was a lower official, but the Pope authorized the release. Will we reenter the Dark Ages again before Christ’s return?

Revelation 13:11-18 is a fifth and latter day beast in Bible prophecy. Daniel’s four beasts came up from the sea, but this beast comes up out of the earth. This aspect with that of the earth opening to help the woman in Rev. 12:16 seems to resemble the United States. Some suggest the two horns are the two law making bodies of congress. If that were so, wouldn’t the two bodies be the same size with equal power? Horns represent power in scripture. The two horns of this lamb-like beast are described in Deut. 33:13-17.

The glory of Joseph is described as like the horns of unicorns and the firstling of his bullock. Unicorns and bullocks are translated from words meaning male lamb with the unicorn being a larger conspicuous wild bull. The House of Joseph will push (war against) people, together (united) with their horns (power) to the ends (uttermost parts) of the earth). Sound like the United States and Great Britain? Ephraim’s numbers are greater than Manasseh’s because the United Kingdom’s population also includes the commonwealth nations. Manasseh was born first as firstling of his (Joseph’s) bullock and the larger conspicuous wild bull. [United States]

Since 1798, Great Britain and the United States have imposed its ideology around the world through economic sanctions, bribery, and militarily with war. They have been at the forefront of the many Bible Societies that have translated the Bible into hundreds of languages. The missionary work of Protestantism has been like that of Catholicism, although not as historically forceful as that by Spain and Portugal. The United States and Great Britain are the political image of Rome in its quest to democratize the world. Protestantism is the religious image of Catholicism by spreading her (Rome’s) doctrines and traditions of men. Have democracy and religion ever fornicated?

The Church of England is the church established by English law after its break from the Roman Catholic Church when Pope Clement VII refused to annul the marriage of Henry VIII to Catherine of Aragon. In 1543, Parliament passed an act making Henry head of the church, thus cutting ties with Rome. The British sovereign is the church’s supreme head. The Church of England maintained most Catholic doctrines and traditions and is also the head of the Anglican Communion. A more protestant-oriented split became known as The Anglican Church, but in the United States, The Episcopal Church. During the Methodist movement in 1738, a more zealous group formed calling themselves Evangelicals, which is a common term today. They form the foundation of the [notso] religious right.

In the image of Rome, the Church of England caused many dissenters from her authority to be put to death. Throughout the protestant reformation, groups that separated from the authority of both oppressive churches didn’t dispose of the main doctrines and traditions of Rome. Even today, the old dictates of Rome are adhered to by most protestant denominations. The coming out of Babylon is not yet complete. Most Christians remain in the dogmatic captivity of the harlot’s doctrines and tradition. (Rev. 18:4, 13:10)

Constantine made Sunday the official day of rest and worship a civil law in 321 AD. When the Church of England split from Rome becoming England’s official church by law, she maintained Rome’s Sunday tradition, thus becoming a daughter in the image of Rome. In the United States, we are guaranteed freedom of religious practice. The First Amendment states, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion…” There have been some Sabbatarians that have thought Congress would pass a Sunday Law at some point in time. Although it would be a direct violation of the First Amendment, it is not necessary that Congress pass such a law. The main body of our Constitution already respects Sunday as the official day of rest: “…if any bill shall not be returned by the President within ten days (Sundays excepted) after it shall have been presented to him…” (U.S. Constitution, Article I, Section 7.) This clause respects Sunday as the official non-work day of the week. Does the U.S. Postal Service deliver mail on Sunday? Why are most of the Federal Government’s buildings of Roman Architecture? Could these things be considered as an image to the beast (Rome)?

Some have supposed Idumea as being the United States. Idumea, or Edom are the Edomites, the descendants of Esau. Their land was the Sinai Peninsula, southern Jordan, and the upper Red Sea shores of Saudi Arabia. Today, the Edomites are among the populations of Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Lebanon. If Israel gives up the West Bank and East Jerusalem, Is.3:1-5 will be fulfilled. The United States may be so bogged down in Afghanistan, Iraq, and possibly Iran, that Britain may need to supply the bulk of the troops for Israel’s security. Efforts by the United States and Great Britain to establish a Palestinian State will not bring peace to the Middle East. Esau sold his birthright (land of Israel) to Jacob. With unforgotten jealousy, the descendants of Esau united with those of Ishmael’s want it back. (Gen. 25:21-34; Is. 34-35; Ezek. 35-36)

Revelation 17 describes the woman (church) that rides the beast. Kings have fornicated with her and people have been deceived by her doctrines. Can you think of any church head or leader who is arrayed in purple and scarlet colour and decked (gilded) with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her (its) hand? MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT is the false church, and as THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS has many daughters. Churches that hold to her doctrines and traditions, which are the ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH, are also harlots. [Like mother, like daughter.] The sheep that are led astray by their false doctrines are her victims.

Where is the seat of authority for this harlot? Rev. 17:9 reveals that she sits on seven mountains. Vatican City is in Rome, which is called The City of Seven Hills. When John recorded his visions, five Kings had fallen, and one is… (Rev. 17:10) The five fallen were Caesar Augustus (27 BC – 14 AD), Tiberius (14-37 AD), Caligula (37-41 AD), Claudius I (41-54 AD), and Nero (54-68 AD). The one in power at the time of his writing was Vespasian (69-79 AD). Most professional scholars and theologians agree that John wrote the Book of Revelation sometime between 70 and 80 AD. There were many rulers over Rome between 79 AD and its fall in 476 AD. The other (different one or type) is not yet come is that with the harlot riding it, which was the Papal and Church’s control over the Holy Roman Empire. Will she ride the last and final resurrection of Rome?

The hocus-pocus of the beast in Rev. 17:8 & 11 is the dragon (Satan), which gave power to the beast (Rome – Papacy). To worship the beast or harlot is to worship the dragon by proxy. (Rev. 13:4) The bottomless pit in Rev. 17:8 is the same as in Rev. 20:3. The word perdition in Rev. 17:8 & 11 is from the Greek: apoleia – ruin or loss. From: apollumi – to destroy fully. When Christ returns, the beast and the false prophet will be cast into the lake of fire (Rev. 19:20), but Satan is bound for 1000 years. (Rev. 20:2) After the 1000 years are expired, he will be loosed. (Rev. 20:7) The was and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition in Rev. 17:8 is the bottomless pit Satan goes in and out of in Rev. 20:3 & 7. Into perdition (total ruin) in Rev. 17:8 & 11 is also the tormented (vexed) in Rev. 20:10. The book of life in Rev. 17:8 is the same book of life in Rev. 20:12. The even he is the eighth, and is of the seven in Rev. 17:11 is the dragon behind the beast and false prophet that are cast into the lake of fire in Rev. 19:20. After the 1000 year reign of Christ and the Saints, the devil (Satan eighth) and death and hell (grave) are cast into it. (Rev. 20:10, 14; Is. 14:15-17; Ezek. 28:18-19)

The ten horns in Rev. 17:12-14 represent ten kings, kingdoms, or nations in the latter days that were raised up from the descendants of The Lost Ten Tribes of Israel. They will agree to give their power and strength (military and economy) to the beast (global banking, finance, regulatory, and government systems) when there is a total collapse of the current global economy. What would happen if those holding the security bonds of our mushrooming national debt were to demand payment in full? Can a nation declare bankruptcy and place its citizen taxpayers under the jurisdiction of a global receivership? The ten kingdoms will have power one hour (first instant – at the beginning) with the beast. They will be making a deal with the devil!

There was a very important lesson to be learned in Iraq. You do not put an unemployed army on the streets without a paycheck! If the United States government goes bankrupt, who will underwrite the budget for the DOD? In the event of a nuclear attack, numerous nationwide natural disasters, pandemic and/or an economic collapse, there are executive orders in place to be utilized during a national emergency declaration that suspends the Constitution and places the nation under centralized martial law. If suspended, will the military oath to uphold it become null and void? Will loyalty be economical? Will they make war with its own citizens? Will they make war with the Lamb? (Amos 5:6, 6:6; Rev. 17:14, 19:19, 16:12-14)

The ten horns in Rev. 17:16-18 also represent ten protestantdaughtersof the harlot mother. There are ten prominent protestant denominations throughout the entire World: Lutheran, Episcopalian, Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, Unitarian, Mennonites, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormon, and Pentecostal. The first seven came to the United States from Europe to exercise religious freedom. They were trying to come out of Babylon but carried much of their mother’s baggage with them like the children of Israel when coming out of Egypt. (Ezek. 20) The last three were established in the United States but have adopted most of the whore’s doctrines and traditions. Today, there are granddaughters and great granddaughters. They all keep the main doctrines and traditions of the harlot church but will come to hate the whore because of her deceptions. God will put it in their minds to strip her naked and burn her with fire. God will judge her through the very ones that she has deceived. (Rev. 17:15-18)

The great tribulation of the near future is supposed to be the greatest time of trouble the world has ever seen or will ever see. (Matt. 24:21; Is. 22:5; Jer. 30:7; Ezek. 7:7; Dan. 12:1; Zeph. 1:14-16) The prophecy in Jeremiah 30 and 31 are for both Houses of Israel and Judah, and pertain to the last days we’re in now. Jeremiah began his work in the days of Josiah, King of Judah (640-609 BC). (Jer. 1:2) The Northern Kingdom of Israel was already taken away captive in 722 BC. The Lord has given his people The Scripture of Truth in the books of the Holy Bible. It states that Satan can transform himself into an angel (messenger – human or divine) of light. (2 Cor. 11:13-15) The scriptures also warn us there are wolves in sheep’s clothing. (Matt. 7:15-23, 10:16; Luke. 10:3; Jn. 10:11-13; Acts 20:29-31)

Most ministries and their pastors today are just hirelings in the occupational field of corporate sheep herding. The sheep are feed the doctrines and traditions passed down by its Board of Directors and/or CEO’s. When the sheep decide that the food isn’t to their liking, they reinvest into a different stock. Church attendance fluctuates with the market. The ever-changing diets of the sheep just keeps them roaming, roaming, roaming; however, just keep those sheep a Roman. Yo Ho!

Come out of Babylon for her judgement is near!
