Is The Sabbath Day the Seventh Day or The First Day of The Week?

Sabbatarians – People who keep the seventh day of the week as a sabbath as the Lord made it on creation (recreation) week. Later it was written on stone tablets by the finger of God as the fourth commandment of the Almighty’s ten and placed in the Ark.

Sundarians – People who keep the first day of the week as a sabbath instead of the seventh day which the Lord made on creation (recreation) week. Their proofs of the change are all philosophical! (Col. 2:8) Theology is defined as the philosophy of religion. However, it is necessary to use the term theological from time to time in writing about certain topics.

When first typing the term “Sundarians” on word is came up as mispelled, but the only suggestion was “Sundarbans”. Had to look it up. Stuck with the spelling “Sundarians”. There’s a fix for the programers!

Sundarbans – Sundarbans is a mangrove area in the delta formed by the confluence of the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna Rivers in the Bay of Bengal. It spans from the Hooghly River in India’s state of West Bengal to the Baleswar River in Bangladesh’s division of Khulna. It comprises closed and open mangrove forests, land used for agricultural purpose, mudflats and barren land, and is intersected by multiple tidal streams and channels.

So therein lies the two camps. Like everything else in scripture, it too is in the prime of two, the one and only prime number in all the infinite number of numbers that one can count for all eternity and never find another like it. Yep! Two is the only even number that is also prime! There are things in the prime of two throughout the entire Bible, from Genesis thru Revelation. Friends, that’s a fact!

**It began with the commencement of all creation. “In the beginning (at the commencement) was the Word (Logos) and the Word was with God (Theos), and the Word was God!” (John 1:1) Mathematically (a pure language – Zeph. 3:9) that would be 1 + 1 = 2 and 1 × 1 = 1.

**They (God – Elohiym) created the heavens and the earth. (Gen.1:1)”In the beginning…” is translated from a single Hebrew word: H7225 – ראשׁית – rê’shı̂yth – ray-sheeth’ – From the same as H7218; the first, in place, time, order or rank (specifically a firstfruit) KJV Usage: beginning, chief (-est), first (-fruits, part, time), principal thing. [“First principle, God creates…”. Man can only make things from that which is already created. In the latter days with his increased knowledge, man has made some powerful things. (Dan. 12:4) Sadly, most are used for war and other evils, but some can be used for good too. The only thing man has created on his own are fanciful ideas in his own mind. (Col. 2:8)

**They (God) said, “Let us create mankind in our image and likeness, male and female, let us create them.” And they did! (Gen. 1:26-28) Mankind (male/female) is in the image/likeness of God (Theos/Logos).

**There were two very, very important trees, the Tree of Life and the Tree of Death. One choice with only two options/consequences – obedience/life or disobedience/death. (Gen. 2:8-9 & 3)

**There was the preflood era and the post flood era. (Genesis 6-9)

**Jacob served two weeks of years for the same woman – Rachel. (Gen. 29:15-30)

**The United Kingdom of Israel was split into two Kingdom – the Southern Kingdom of Judah and the Northern Kingdom of Israel. (1 Kings 11)

**There was the first advent of Messiah as foretold by the prophets. (Old Testament) Now we have two Testaments of our creator God (Theos/Legos) with the New Testament about his first advent. Both Testaments foretell of the Word that became flesh who was Emmanuel (God with us), named Jesus by his virgin mother, fulfilled his mission here on earth in the flesh, crucified as the Lamb of God for the sins of man, resurrected in three days and nights, spent forty days with his disciples, then ascended to his Father and now sits by his Fathers right hand. Both testaments tell of his soon to come to pass reign here on earth as King of Kings with the saints. Finally, a government without corruption. (Is. 8:19-9:7, 1Cor. 15:50-58, Rev.20:1-6)

**In the book of Revelation there is foretold and soon to come the second advent of Messiah as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. There are two witnesses, two palm trees, two resurrections, two books of life, and the second death.

These are the primary things in the prime of two. There are others. There is good and evil, right and wrong, wickedness and righteous and obedience and disobedience. Sin is transgression (disobedience) of Father God’s holy commandments. We do have freedom of choice and there are always two options. As in the law of physics that states: For every action there must be a reaction, the same holds true for choices: For every choice there is a consequence.

Man and woman are flesh and blood – living nephesh with a spirit (mind, intellect, mental disposition) that can become begotten by the holy (sacred) spirit (mind, intellect, mental disposition) and grow in the womb of wisdom that is our creator who became flesh as a living sacrifice to redeem HIS fallen creation. Let us show and prove our love!

John 14:8-21

8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. 21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Happy Sabbath yawl! Have a restful day.
