Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled
John 14:1-5
“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house (G3614) are many mansions (G3438): if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place (G5117) for you. And if I go and prepare a place (G5117) for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way (G3598) ye know.”
*G3614 – οἰκία – properly, residence (abstractly), but usually (concretely) an abode (literally or figuratively); by implication, a family (especially domestics) Derivation: from G3624; KJV Usage: home, house(-hold).

Where is Father God’s abode and/or residence? “Our Father, which art in heaven, thy kingdom come, thy will (desire) be done, on earth as it is in heaven…” (Mt. 6:9-13) Father God’s abode is in the heavens that were created to be inhabited along with the earth.
Isaiah 45:18
“For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it (them, both heavens and earth) not in vain, he formed it (them, both heavens and earth) to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.”
John 1:1-18
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power (G1489) to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will (of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. 16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. 18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”
*G1489 – ἐξουσία – privilege, i.e. (subjectively) force, capacity, competency, freedom, or (objectively) mastery (concretely, magistrate, superhuman, potentate, token of control), delegated influence. Derivation: from G1832 (in the sense of ability); KJV Usage: authority, jurisdiction, liberty, power, right, strength.
>G1832 – ἔξεστιso also ἐξόν neuter present participle of the same (with or without some form of G1510 expressed); impersonally, it is right (through the figurative idea of being out in public) Derivation: third person singular present indicative of a compound of G1537 and G1510; KJV Usage: be lawful, let, X may(-est). {Click embeds for further comparison.}
Freedom of choice is a right derived from the first amendment’s guarantee of certain liberties endowed by our creator. In the exercise of these liberties comes a responsibility to be lawful. The very first choice made by mankind was to be disobedient to the Lord God, our creator’s first command. Our first parents were told and knew that of all the trees in the garden they could freely eat (obedience – Gen. 2:16), except one (disobedience – Gen. 2:17). Life and death came by the liberty to freely choose between obedience and disobedience. The precious blood of the lamb of Father God was not shed to give mankind a license to continue in sin, but forgiveness of sin because we all fall short of the glory of God. To repent is to turn away from sin, in spirit (mental disposition) as well as body (the flesh). To continue in disobedience while laying claim to grace alone is philosophical deception. (Col.2:8, Matt. 5:17-20, John 14:14-21, James 2, Rev, 12;17, 14:12, 22:14)
Psalms 1
KJV(i)1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
