Being 66 years old and having had a hemorrhagic stroke and diagnosed with COPD, I knew that my immune system was as weak as my old tin roof was rusty. Let’s just say I was moved to take antioxidants and vitamin D3. Started out with Vitamin C, Zinc, D3 and certain herbal tea blends for colds and with antioxidants. Have done so for a long while since I don’t get flu shots. Drives my CPC nuts! Also upped my dosage since COVID and added selenium to the list last year. I haven’t got covid yet! At least I don’t think so. All the vitamins one can get anywhere, all have the following disclaimer on them:
“These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.”
Well, how about that?!?! The FDA is pushing an “unapproved for emergency use only” mRNA experimental concoction of bull crap that has proved itself worthless while dismissing natural immunity and/or naturally enhanced natural immunity. The only reason the disclaimer statements are put on the various vitamins, supplements and herbal teas is because the manufactures and those recommending them aren’t licensed to practice medicine. Most of the ones who do legally licensed practice do so all their lives under the influence of Big Pharma. Just go to the local BP station and fill her up with a hand full of prescriptions to treat the symptoms and not the root causes.
I personally find it rather humorous that for the last 35 years I have legally grown vegetables without a license. People have to eat! It has always made me wonder why the most important occupation on planet earth is growing food and the ones who do it are the least paid for doing so.
Our bodies were designed to produce vitamin D from sunlight. If one doesn’t get enough sunlight, they don’t produce enough Vitamin D and need to supplement it, especially as one gets older. Wonder if anyone realizes the too much indoor activity is too much time out of the sunlight. Don’t know if tanning booths can produce vitamin D or not. Do know that they can cause cancer.

Peer-reviewed study finds vitamin D effective against COVID-19
Israeli researchers note ‘striking’ difference in outcome of patients
Israeli scientists say they have accumulated the most convincing evidence so far that taking vitamin D supplements can help COVID-19 patients reduce the risk of serious illness or death.
The peer-reviewed study published Thursday in the journal PLOS is based on research conducted during Israel’s first two waves of the virus before vaccines became available, the Times of Israel reported.
The researchers from Bar Ilan University and the Galilee Medical Center said the impact was so strong that they could predict how infected people would fare based on only their ages and vitamin D levels.
“We found it remarkable, and striking, to see the difference in the chances of becoming a severe patient when you are lacking in vitamin D compared to when you’re not,” said Dr. Amiel Dror, a Galilee Medical Center physician and Bar Ilan researcher.

He said vitamin D strengthens the immune systems “to deal with viral pathogens that attack the respiratory system.”
“This is equally relevant for Omicron as it was for previous variants,” he told the Times of Israel.
The researchers published preliminary findings in June that showed 26% of coronavirus patients died if they were vitamin D deficient soon before hospitalization. That compared to 3% who had normal levels of vitamin D.
And hospitalized COVID-19 patients who were vitamin D deficient were 14 times more likely than others to end up in severe or critical condition.
Dror said his team addressed the question in the scientific community of whether recent health conditions among the patients might have been skewed the results. In other words, was vitamin deficiency a symptom rather than a contributing factor?
To account for that possibility, the researchers examined each patient’s vitamin D levels over the two-year period prior coronavirus infection.
“We checked a range of timeframes, and found that wherever you look over the two years before infection, the correlation between vitamin D and disease severity is extremely strong,” Dror said.
Because of its wide scope, he added, the study offers “stronger support than anything seen so far emphasizing the importance of boosting vitamin D levels during the pandemic.”
Have been able to research things since I got internet for first time mid-2020. Found this:
Personally, I take 50 mg zinc, 1200 mg Vitamin C. 4000 adult gummy vitamin D3 and 200 mg selenium daily. I’m 6 feet tall and about 190 lbs. This is not a recommendation on amounts.
“And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat (Food)”. (Genesis 1:29)
We don’t always get the vitamins and minerals we need from the food we eat. We also do know how to make them as supplements. As for me personally, I have more trust in God than Big Pharma, FDA, NIH, WHO and especially that tyrant Dr. Faucinstein who wears a white cotton cloak with a badge of authority with two snakes intertwined around a staff.
