The Cold War that most seniors alive today experienced and supposedly ended with the collapse of the Soviet Union (USSR) in 1991 is relighting like an unattended fire thought to be out. We all remember MAD – Mutual Assured Destruction. Looks as if the “No first Use” policy has been non-existent for a while.

While Russia has invaded one of its strongest states from the old days of the USSR in an attempt to expand its former influence in the land of Magog, Gog (China) is expanding its influence in the Pacific.

And now the whole situation has reached into the heavens!
Now two of the three nuclear superpowers, USA and Russia, have leaders of which neither are in what can be called “sound mental health”. Both Biden and Putin’s mental issues are known.
Now how insane is that? Both have access to the proverbial “nuclear red button”. Will Biden stumble and fall on his? Will Putin go into a frenzy fit and just push his in a state of panic? Will the rider of the red horse just flip a coin? Let’s not forget China and The Little Rocket Man. The UN Security council can’t get either China or Russia to back them on North Korea.

“UNITED NATIONS (AFP) – The United States and European allies on the United Nations Security Council failed on Monday (March 7) to convince China and Russia to back a text noting North Korea’s “violations” of resolutions on missile technology.
North Korean state media said Pyongyang carried out a test on Saturday for what it said was a reconnaissance satellite, but which analysts said was a thinly veiled ballistic missile launch, just days before a presidential election in South Korea.
“We would love to have China and Russia join us in this room” to adopt the text, US Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield told AFP after a closed-door Security Council meeting.
Backed by 10 other ambassadors – including from countries not on the Security Council, such as Australia and Japan – Thomas-Greenfield read out a text affirming that the group is “united today in condemning the DPRK’s March 5 launch of a ballistic missile,” referring to North Korea’s official name, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
“Like the 10 other ballistic missile launches since the beginning of the year, this act by the DPRK violated multiple Security Council resolutions,” she said.
“While the DPRK escalates its destabilising actions, the Security Council continues to remain silent.”
