How Can Jesus Christ Also Be the Son of Man?

Have you ever heard the question: “How can the Son of God also be the son of man if Jesus was born of a Virgin? I suppose the questioner is asking from a biological point of view. After all, Joseph had nothing to do with the pregnancy. How can this be?

In the Gospel of Matthew, we are given the male genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham (1:1) from Abraham to Joseph (Matt. 1:16) However, in the Gospel according to Luke, we are given the male genealogy of Jesus Christ from Joseph all the way back to Adam. (Luke 3:23-38)

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” (Genesis 1:26-27)

The process was as follows:

” And the LORD God formed man of the dust (H6083) of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7)

*H6083 – עפר – ‛âphâr – aw-fawr’ – From H6080; dust (as powdered or gray); hence clay, earth, mud. – KJV Usage: ashes, dust, earth, ground, morter, powder, rubbish.

>H6080 – עפר – ‛âphar – aw-far’ – A primitive root; meaning either to begray or perhaps rather to pulverize; used only as denominative from H6083, to bedust. KJV Usage: cast [dust]

The smallest thing that anything can be “pulverized” down to and maintain its identity is an Atom and in the latter days (years) of increased knowledge (Dan. 12:4) that makes up out peridoc table of elements.

“And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs (chromosomes), and closed up the flesh instead thereof (fusion); And the rib (chromosome), which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. ²³ And Adam said, This is now bone (DNA) of my bones (DNA), and flesh (chromosome) of my flesh (chromosome): she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. (Genesis 2:21-23)

From Missing Links, Chapter II (pages 34&35 in paperback): The word “ribs” is from the Hebrew prime word tsala, which means curved as in one-sided. Does that not resemble the loop-shaped chromosome that contains the genetic information of human DNA – the code of life? A chromosome pair was split as in fission, but not self-induced. Human chromosome number 2 is two that were fused together (fusion). This intelligently controlled fusion explains the phrase closed-up the flesh instead thereof. (biological fusion)

The members of the ape family have 24 pairs of chromosomes. Humans have 23 pairs. No fused chromosomes exist within the ape family. The fusing of two human chromosomes has caused many evolutionists to claim it as evidence that man evolved from or with apes but cannot explain how or why they became fused. The fact that chromosomes are counted as pairs means that the total number in all living organisms must be divisible by two. Are there any species on the planet with X½ pairs? Viruses exist with single and double strands of DNA or RNA, but many biologists debate if they are indeed alive. Like parasites they need a host to reproduce, but can remain proactive for a period of time outside a host. If we do some simple arithmetic, we may learn something! When Yehovah Elohiym took one of Adam’s chromosomes, it left 47, which cannot be evenly divided by two. When He “closed up the flesh instead thereof,” it fused two chromosomes and Adam had 46. Eve was genetically duplicated from a single chromosome to be Adam’s sexual counterpart.

rib (H6763) – צלעה צלע – tsêlâ‛ tsal‛âh – tsay-law’,tsal-aw’ – From H6760; a rib (as curved), literally (of the body) or figuratively (of a door, that is, leaf); hence a side, literally (of a person) or figuratively (of an object or the sky, that is, quarter); architecturally a timber (especially floor or ceiling) or plank (single or collectively, that is, a flooring) KJV Usage: beem, board, chamber, corner, leaf, plank, rib, side (chamber).

Joseph had nothing to do with Mary’s conception. Woman was “taken out of man”. Jesus Christ is the Word that became flesh in the womb of a virgin woman who was a daughter of Eve, the mother of all living (Genesis 3:20), who was formed out of and for Adam. Therefore, Jesus Christ was also the son of man since man is of God.

Is there a mathematical equation for this?

From Missing Links, Chapter VIII (page 119 in paperback): It was necessary from the foundation of creation that the creator should become as the created. The squaring of light’s velocity was critical to the equation E = mc². Christ’s first sacrifice was the sharing of himself in the process of creation. His second sacrifice was for the reconciliation of man (matter) to the Father (energy). To redeem man’s fallen state, Christ became a flesh born man (matter) in order to bring man back into unity with and under the Father. Christ became flesh by the equation’s fourth transposition. Christ² is the root (power) of creation × salvation. (Is. 11:10-11; Job 19:23-28; Rom. 11:16-36; Col. 2:6-10; Ezek. 41:21; 2Ti. 2:15; Rev. 21:22, 22:13,16) Christ in the flesh was to be of the root of Jesse father of David. That is why Jesus also called himself son of man.
