With all that is going on in the world today, why in the hell is it necessary for “Double Dog Dare” Nancy to do a Taiwan stop? The Chinese CCP and military have been rather adamant about it. It’s like they are double dog daring Nancy to visit Taiwan. Is it a game of poker? “Gotta know when to hold them, know when to fold them, know when to walk away and know when to run.”

I don’t know if Nancy is going to stick her tongue on this frozen flag pole or not, but she sure better be able to swim if China holds to its threat. Wonder if she packed a swim suit? If China shoots down her plane, she really won’t need one because she just be Nancyburger for the sharks. I don’t know what she is counting on if she does stop in Taiwan, but her husband will surely be counting his money if she don’t.

China held live-fire military drills in the Taiwan Strait on Saturday as U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi prepared to arrive in Asia.

The exercises took place off the coast of Fujian province opposite Taiwan. A warning issued by the local maritime safety agency said the drills would be conducted near Pingtan, a county about 81 miles from Hsinchu city across the strait in northwestern Taiwan. It was the first live-fire drill announced by the agency in at least a year.

Pelosi on Friday said she’s “very excited” about the prospect of an upcoming trip to Asia, while refusing to confirm any of her itinerary — including whether she’ll visit Taiwan. Reports that her travel would include a stop in Taiwan had sparked a furious reaction in China, which regards the self-governing island as part of its territory.

Reports: Pelosi to visit Taiwan despite Chinese threats

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will visit Taiwan during her ongoing tour of Asia, CNN reported Monday, citing a senior Taiwanese government official and a US official. The Wall Street Journal reported Pelosi will visit on Tuesday and has meetings with Taiwanese officials on Wednesday, according to people familiar with the matter. The trip comes after China threatened a “strong” response if Pelosi visits the island nation. 

The visit is currently not on Pelosi’s public itinerary, likely due to China’s aggressive stance toward the visit. While it is unclear when Pelosi will arrive in Taiwan, the Taiwanese government source said she is expected to remain on the island overnight.

Well now, they didn’t list the visit on her “public itinerary“. Is that supposed to deter the CCP? Maybe they hope that the CCP don’t cover AMN or any other news. Remain on the island overnight!?!? So much for security!
