“And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” (Mathew 24:22) 

Yep! Jesus said so!

Let’s do the Math

“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” (2Peter 3:8)

The Apostle Peter recorded for us a mathematical ratio to work with. 1 God day = 1000 man years or 1000 years man time = 1 God day. This coincides with the day to the year ratio in prophecy. (See Missing Links, Chapter VI in main menu.) Keep in mind that God sets the dominion of earth’s axis and rotation. (Job 38:33) Man has only recently discovered the ordinances of the heavens and the dominions of the earth a little before that. Man has also set a standard measurement on a day. 1 complete 360 degree rotation of the earth on its axis is a standard 24 hours. [360 deg ÷ 15 = 24 hr]

Why 15?

From Missing Link, Chapter V:

With much searching in the Bible, I found that the number 15 has great significance. The 15^th day of the first month is the first annual Sabbath following the Lord’s Passover. The 15^th day of the seventh month is the Feast of Tabernacles, which is symbolic to Christ’s return and reign on earth. The 15^th year of Tiberius Caesar’s reign was the year Christ began his earthly ministry. (Lev. 23, Luke 3) The hangings in the Court of the Tabernacle were 15 cubits (Ex. 27:14-15, 38:14-15). The hangings from the pinnacle of a pyramid are its four slopes. There are three sides to a triangle and five corners to a pyramid, and three Giza pyramids with five corners each. According to the Bible, the foundation of mankind is the creation of Adam and Eve. The foundation for salvation is our creator who hung on a pole and is the ChiefCorner stone.(Is. 28:16-18; 1Pet. 2:6) The foundation of a pyramid hangs by the slopes from its pinnacle, which is its chief cornerstone.

Utilizing Peter’s given ratio, what is 1.59 milliseconds man time in God Time:

Man Time to God Time

[.00159 sec × 60 sec × 60 min × 24 hr ÷ 1000 yrs = .137376 God Day]

That would be [.137376 × 24 hr/day = 3.297 hr God time] in man’s reckoning of the dominion God set on earth’s 360 degree rotation. In other words, God shorten man’s day by 1.59 milliseconds which is 3.297 hour His time utilizing the ratio He gave to Peter and recorded in Scripture.

Yep, those days are beginning to be shorten alright!
