Two Thirds of 435 Is 290

According to the Constitution, it takes two thirds of the Congress to override a Presidential veto. It also takes two thirds of the congress or states to purpose an Amendment to the Constitution, but 3/4 of the states have to ratify it before it becomes part of the Constitution. Two thirds seems to be very important to our representative Constitutional Republic. What happens when an incumbent person running for a house seat in Congress loses the election by 38 points, or 68% for her opponent and she only gets 27% of the vote? That’s only 95%. What happened to the other 5%? Who knows? Well, anyway, if one loses by 41% of the vote or 38 points, that’s a lot! AND, 68% of the people’s vote is more than two thirds of a majority – 66.6%. Mark of the beast with a decimal point? I doubt it!

*H1285 – בּרית – b^e rı̂yth – ber-eeth’ – From H1262 (in the sense of cutting (like H1254)); a compact (because made by passing between pieces of flesh)

KJV Usage: confederacy, [con-]feder[-ate], covenant, league.

*H226 – אות – ‘ôth – oth – Probably from H225 (in the sense of appearing); a signal (literally or figuratively), as a flag, beacon, monument, omen, prodigy, evidence, etc.

KJV Usage: mark, miracle, (en-) sign, token.

Note: In the New Testament it is the seal of God. The mark of the beast was whoever changed it. Rome and the Roman Church!
