Black Horse Update 11/10/2022

All In A Nutshell

What does oil and gas have to do with food shortages and famine? LOTS!! Nitrogen fertilizer comes from natural gas. Farmers need it to grow food! Diesel fuel runs farm equipment, trucks, trains and heavy diesel runs ships in the massive modern supply chain. Gasoline runs your automobile to take you to the grocery store if you don’t go directly to the farm. That pretty much covers the whole of the supply chain, except for the faster deliveries to some by aircraft to various regions, but they use fossil fuel too. Talk about being hooked on oil; getting unaddicted is a slow process! Why do some think that cold turkey is the best method? It may be for drug addiction, but with gas and oil, one could very easily freeze to death while waiting for deliveries before they starve to death!

Is that pretty much it in a nutshell?!?!

The Shortages Are Coming – Are You Ready?

From the article:

Do you remember in early 2020 when they told us that the shortages that we were experiencing would just be temporary?  Of course some of them were, but then more shortages just kept on erupting.  That wasn’t supposed to happen, and now it appears that our supply chain problems could potentially get a whole lot worse.

In just a few short months, we will be three years away from the beginning of the pandemic in the United States.  But instead of a “return to normal”, more shortages are on the way.  And in some cases, they could even be life threatening.

Let me give you an example.  We need Amoxicillin to treat some of the most common infections that our children experience.  Unfortunately, the FDA is warning us that we are now facing a very serious shortage of Amoxicillin…

Ear infections and strep throat.

Both are common childhood illnesses, for which the go-to prescription is in short supply, according to a recent nationwide alert from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The warning specifically involves the powder, which pharmacists use to mix liquid Amoxicillin for childhood infections.

This is a really big deal.

According to one recent survey, close to two-thirds of all pharmacies in the nation are having difficulty getting Amoxicillin right now, and the national shortage of Adderall is even worse…

Nearly 66% of pharmacies are having challenges obtaining amoxicillin, according to a new National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) survey of 8000 pharmacy owners and managers, whereas 89% are realizing a shortage of Adderall.

Of course we are dealing with lots of other drug shortages at this moment as well.

In fact, according to the official FDA drug shortage list there are nationwide shortages of a whopping 183 different drugs in the United States right now.

We truly are in unprecedented territory.

Up in Canada, things are even worse.

If you can believe it, at this point the Canadians are facing “an acute shortage of basic painkillers”…

The Canadian healthcare system is experiencing an acute shortage of basic painkillers, particularly acetaminophen and ibuprofen, which are commonly used to relieve pain and fever in children during flu season….

****

But pain killers won’t help what is about to come!

From the article:

The ongoing energy crisis in Europe is certain to have the most harmful effects this winter on the poorest nations on the continent.

Zerohedge published a map detailing a study by Statista showing that even last winter, around 7% of the people living in European Union nations were unable to properly heat their homes. That was before the Russian invasion of Ukraine that led to harsh sanctions from Western countries and following the termination of Russian natural gas exports to Germany and EU member nations….

…Protestors have assembled in London demanding that Parliament create an immediate “universal basic energy allowance” to make direct payments for basic heating, cooking, and lighting. More than 600,000 are expected to have signed an “Energy For All” petition planned to be delivered to the prime minister next week.

…A Fuel Poverty Action spokesperson said that it is now “all the more essential – and more possible – to win a totally new pricing framework like Energy For All.”

It is unknown how European countries will pay for massive energy subsidies if they are approved or what will happen to some citizens if they are not.

No wonder they can’t keep a Prime Minister!

And I remember this next place.

But by a different name.

Gas Stations Forced To Close In Vietnam Due To Fuel Shortages

From the article:

While the U.S. is precariously close to running out of diesel fuel, gas stations in Ho Chi Minh City have been forced to close due to widespread fuel shortages across Vietnam.

The two main factors that have led to the Vietnamese gasoline shortage are government price controls along with a decrease in profits among gasoline distributors. In response to the crisis, the Vietnamese government ordered two domestic refineries to increase output to the maximum amount possible in mid-October. Refineries were also asked to expedite the delivery of fuel to distributors across the country….

Railroad strike deadline pushes into December as sides work to avert stoppage

From the article:

All 12 rail unions must approve their deals to prevent a strike. Seven unions have ratified their five-year contracts with 24% raises and $5,000 in bonuses so far.

OMAHA, Neb. — The possibility of an economically devastating railroad strike has been pushed back into early December to allow time for engineers and conductors to vote on their agreements with the freight railroads and give more opportunity for the industry to renegotiate with two unions that rejected their deals last month.

Previously, a Nov. 19 strike deadline hung over the talks, but the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employes Division union that represents track maintenance workers agreed Wednesday to delay any action at least until Dec. 4. So for now the trains operated by Fort Worth-based BNSF, Union Pacific, Norfolk Southern, CSX, Kansas City Southern and other railroads will continue delivering the raw materials and finished products that so many businesses in all industries need.

Related:D-FW’s transportation hub threatened by looming railroad strike

The railroads are offering the biggest raises workers have seen in more than four decades, but railroads have resisted union demands to add paid sick time, and the new contracts won’t resolve all the workers’ quality of life concerns….

Is this a jury trial?!?!

What about the American people’s quality of life?

“I’ve been working for the railroad,

and I’m a greedy SOB.”?!?!

Well, so much for Unions!?!?

Red Horse helps Black??

The Clock Is Ticking – China Prepares For War

From the 11/09 article:

Chinese President Xi Jinping has just announced that China will be “preparing for war”, and that should deeply alarm all of us.  Needless to say, nobody is going to be attacking China any time soon.  So why would the Chinese need to prepare for war if there is zero chance that they will be attacked?

Unfortunately, the answer is obvious.  The only reason China would be engaged in a military conflict any time soon is if it chooses to invade Taiwan.  The moment such an invasion is launched, the United States and China will be at war.  The Chinese know this, but Chinese President Xi Jinping is going ahead with preparations for war anyway…

China will focus on preparing for war with the country’s security ‘increasingly unstable and uncertain’, President Xi Jinping has declared.

Beijing will now comprehensively strengthen its military training and preparation for any war, Xi said today, according to state broadcaster CCTV.

This is the very first time in decades that China has been on a war footing.

Not too long ago, the Chinese were our new best friends and we were doing all that we could to deepen trading relationships with them.

Now our economy is deeply, deeply dependent on goods from China, and once a military conflict erupts that flow of goods will come to grinding halt.

So let us hope that such a war does not materialize any time soon.

Sadly, it has become exceedingly clear that Chinese President Xi Jinping is strongly considering the option of “reuniting” with Taiwan by force…

We just moved our clocks back an hour!?!?

1M+ guns sold for 39th month in a row, National Shooting Sports Foundation finds

From the 11/10 article:

More than a million guns were sold in the U.S. for the 39th straight month in October, even as sales cool off from record pandemic-era highs, according to new data from National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF).

Monthly data from the NSSF estimated that 1,265,311 guns were sold at retail last month. That’s down 11.3 percent from October 2021, but still the fourth highest October since 2000, according to the data.

NSSF bases its estimate on the number of federal background checks run through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, or NICS.

Monthly gun sales have exceeded 1 million since August 2019, but since 2020, sales have at times topped 2 million, according to NSSF data. With more than 21 million guns sold, 2020 broke the previous record, set in 2016, by over 34 percent, and 2021 surged to second place with 18.5 million sold.

This year, sales have been below 2021 levels in every month except June, which saw an 8 percent increase, according to the data. With a total of 13,158,454 sold so far in 2022, sales are cooling off but still on pace to make it the third-best year tracked by NSSF.

Sales have stayed above 13 million since 2012, which was also the first year to see more than 2 million guns sold in one month – December, according to the data….

Americans are preparing for something!?!?

Let’s see, that’s…

2022 – 2012 = 10 x 13M per year = 130 million

Not counting pre-2012 sold and the all the unregistered ones!

If my math is right!

Xi Jinping tells China’s military to prepare for war, ‘fight and win’ it

From the 11/10 article:

Chinese leader Xi Jinping recently called on China’s military to devote all of its energy to preparing for war, making combat readiness its singular priority so that Chinese forces can “fight and win” in a potential future conflict.

On Tuesday, Xi carried out an inspection of the Central Military Commission (CMC) of the ruling Chinese Communist Party (CCP). According to China’s official Xinhua news service, he told the CMC that China’s entire military “should devote all its energy to and carry out all its work for combat readiness, enhance its capability to fight and win, and effectively fulfill its missions and tasks in the new era.”

Xi said China’s military should set “combat effectiveness as the sole criterion” in their decision-making as they move forward.

Xi’s emphasis on China’s combat effectiveness above all else comes after he called for China to expand its military with new capabilities and more intense training at the twice-in-a-decade 20th Chinese Communist Party National Congress last month. During that key CCP meeting, Xi also said China would push for “reunification” with Taiwan, and held open the possibility of China “reunifying” with Taiwan by military force….

BERDAN: GOP House Should Rescind Ukraine’s ‘Blank Check’ And Start De-Escalating

From a 11/09 article:

OPINION

Reuters/Win McNamee

Questioning the billions of dollars being sunk into the Ukraine conflict, which has resulted in a devastating loss of life, an ensuing energy crisis, and a real threat of nuclear war got you tarred as a Putin sympathizer. Although the “red wave” did not materialize in the midterms, the new GOP majority set to take the House and the purse strings funding this preventable war provides a chance to re-examine unlimited support for Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky and begin de-escalation to end the conflict.

The real question is whether the West is truly fighting for democracy or hell-bent on confronting Russia and involving Americans in another war. Biden’s answer seems clear: Putin is the scapegoat for everything wrong in America, whether it be claims of Putin’s inflation, Putin’s gas hikes, or for aiding President Trump’s win in 2016. Biden told the world from Warsaw on March 26 that Putin “cannot remain in power”.

It would seem Biden’s narrative has come back to haunt him as Americans and Europeans feel the economic pain. Voting constituencies have become tired of the “democracy at risk’ narrative for a country that is far from democratic….

Isaiah 24:16-23

KJV(i) 16 From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously. 17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth. 18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake. 19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. 20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. 21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. 22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited. 23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

Ezekiel 38:21-23

KJV(i) 21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother. 22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Zechariah 13:7-9

KJV(i) 7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones. 8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. 9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

Matthew 24:1-13

KJV(i) 1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. 2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? 4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Come out of Babylon for her judgement is near!
