Big Change to COVID-19 Vaccine Strategy Might Be Coming Soon, FDA Documents Show

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) wants to simplify the current COVID-19 vaccination strategy to be more like an annual flu shot, according to briefing documents released on Jan. 23 ahead of a key advisory meeting to be held on Jan. 26.
The FDA’s proposal, as outlined in the documents, is to simplify COVID-19 vaccine composition and annual immunization schedules.
Currently, people first get two doses of the original COVID-19 vaccine spaced several weeks apart, followed a few months later by a bivalent booster tailored to protect against newer variants. The FDA’s proposal wants to change that.
Instead, the primary dose and booster would be combined into a single product for healthy adults, developed in spring based on prevailing strains and given once a year in the fall, much like how flu shots are administered….

Senior Pfizer Employee Says Company Exploring Mutating COVID-19 to ‘Preemptively Develop New Vaccines’

A senior employee at Pfizer said in a conversation captured by the nonprofit journalism group Project Veritas that the pharmaceutical company is looking into mutating COVID-19 in order to facilitate the development of new vaccines.
“One of the things we’re exploring is like, why don’t we just mutate it ourselves so we could create—preemptively develop new vaccines, right?” Dr. Jordon Walker, a director of research and development at Pfizer, told an undercover reporter for Project Veritas….
…Walker appeared to be speaking at a restaurant, unaware that he was being recorded.
An online professional profile for Walker describes him as director of worldwide R&D strategic operations and mRNA scientific planning at Pfizer. Cached versions in search engines of his Linkedin profile list the same title. His actual Linkedin page was removed. Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine is built on messenger RNA, or mRNA, technology.
The profile included a Pfizer email address for Walker, a cell phone number, and a phone number to Pfizer’s headquarters. An email to the address was not returned, but did not bounce back. A receptionist at the headquarters, who was asked for Walker on Thursday, acknowledged that he was listed as an employee but said that his company profile did not list any contact information. On Friday, a different person said there was no listing for a Jordon Walker.
According to internal documents obtained by Project Veritas, Walker reports to Shuang Wu, who reports to Mikael Dolsten. Pfizer’s chief scientific officer, Dolsten reports to Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla.
Walker’s profile said he has a medical degree and the state of New York has a Jordon Walker listed as having a physician license in the state.
Walker was confronted in a New York City establishment by Project Veritas head James O’Keefe with footage of him talking about the COVID-19 mutation exploration. Walker confirmed that the video was authentic but said he was not telling the truth.
“I was trying to impress a person on a date by lying. I’m not even a scientist by background. You know I came from a consulting firm that does business,” Walker told O’Keefe.
“Why are you doing this to someone who’s just working at a company that’s trying to literally help the public?” he said later….

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) shared the footage of Walker talking about mutating COVID-19.
“It’s time for Congress to thoroughly investigate vaccine manufacturers and the entire COVID vaccine approval process,” he said in a statement.
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) sent a letter to Bourla, saying he was aware of “troubling reports” of Pfizer intending to mutate COVID-19….

Elon Musk Reveals ‘Major Side Effects’ After 2nd COVID-19 Booster

Elon Musk said he felt like he “was dying” after his second COVID-19 booster shot.
“I had major side effects from my second booster shot,” the new Twitter boss wrote in a social media post. “Felt like I was dying for several days. Hopefully, no permanent damage, but I don’t know.”
Musk didn’t provide medical records to back his claim. Neither did he say which company’s COVID booster he took.
The Epoch Times can’t verify his claim independently.
Moderna and Pfizer didn’t respond to requests for comments at the time when the article was published.
He took Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine and the first mRNA booster without side effects, Musk said.
Musk posted a string of Twitter posts in response to a post by Rasmussen Reports which is criticizing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)’s narrative that major side effects after COVID vaccination are “rare.”

Pfizer Research Director Implicitly Acknowledged Its COVID-19 Vaccines ‘Aren’t Working’: Dr. Robert Malone

Dr. Robert Malone said he was “entirely emotional” after seeing Project Veritas’s undercover video in which a research director of Pfizer claimed the company’s scientists are talking about mutating the SARS-CoV-2 virus to “preemptively develop new vaccines.”
Dr. Jordon Walker, who was or is a Pfizer employee, stated in the video, “One of the things we are exploring is, why don’t we just mutate it ourselves so we could create—preemptively develop new vaccines?” He added later, “We’re going to consider that, with more discussions.”
Malone told NTD Business that Walker’s statement acknowledges something quite significant.

Growing Number of Doctors Say They Won’t Get COVID-19 Booster Shots

A growing number of doctors say that they won’t get COVID-19 vaccine boosters, citing a lack of clinical trial evidence.
“I have taken my last COVID vaccine without RCT level evidence it will reduce my risk of severe disease,” Dr. Todd Lee, an infectious disease expert at McGill University, wrote on Twitter.
Lee was pointing to the lack of randomized clinical trial (RCT) results for the updated vaccine boosters, which were cleared in the United States and Canada in the fall of 2022 primarily based on data from experiments with mice.
Lee, who has received three vaccine doses, noted that he was infected with the Omicron coronavirus variant—the vaccines provide little protection against infection—and described himself as a healthy male in his 40s.
Dr. Vinay Prasad, a professor of epidemiology and biostatics at the University of California–San Francisco, also said he wouldn’t take any additional vaccine boosters until clinical trial data become available.
“I took at least 1 dose against my will. It was unethical and scientifically bankrupt,” he said.
Allison Krug, an epidemiologist who co-authored a study that found that teenage boys were more likely to suffer heart inflammation after COVID-19 vaccination than COVID-19 infection, recounted explaining to her doctor why she was refusing a booster and said her doctor agreed with her position….

U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) officials are aware of reports of long-lasting problems following COVID-19 vaccination, an official recently disclosed.
“With respect to reports of people experiencing debilitating illnesses, we are aware of these reports of people experiencing long-lasting health problems following COVID vaccination,” Dr. Tom Shimabukuro, director of the CDC’s Immunization Safety Office, said on Jan. 26.
“In some cases, the clinical presentation of people suffering these health problems is variable and no specific medical cause for the symptoms have been found,” Shimabukuro added. “We understand that illness is disruptive and stressful, especially under those circumstances. And we acknowledge these health problems have substantially impacted the quality of life for people and have also affected those around them. And we hope for improvement and recovery, and we will continue to monitor the safety of these vaccines and work with partners to try to better understand these types of adverse events.”
Shimabukuro was speaking during a Jan. 26 Food and Drug Administration (FDA) meeting that discussed COVID-19 vaccine safety and effectiveness.
Dr. Hayley Gans, a pediatrics professor at Stanford University Medical Center, had asked how federal authorities were tracking problems that have cropped up after vaccination and might not be “amenable” to rapid cycle analysis, or one way of monitoring vaccine safety.
Shimabukuro noted that any person, including health care workers, can submit reports of adverse events to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), which the CDC manages, “and we accept all those reports without judging the clinical seriousness or how plausible the adverse event may be with respect to causation.” Other systems also monitor safety beyond the rapid analysis, he added.
“We take vaccine safety very seriously,” Shimabukuro said.
Shimabukuro’s comments are unusual among federal officials, who have been reluctant to connect adverse events with the COVID-19 vaccines….

Vaccines have been upheld as the best strategy for dealing with infectious diseases, but that’s largely because of a limited understanding of the immune system and how to best complement and support its function. Our bodies are normally able to separate the wheat from the chaff when it comes to invading pathogens or when a vaccine stimulates an immune reaction, but there are factors that can compromise that.
A study published in Science Immunology in January 2023 (but first submitted in August 2022) shows that incremental doses of the mRNA COVID-19 vaccine boosters may be one such factor, based on how they train our immune systems. In this case, the immune system seemed to gain a false sense of security from dealing with the booster version of the vaccine, which is supposed to teach the immune system how to deal with the virus. Unfortunately, in this case, it seemed that the immune system has learned that it doesn’t need to mount a strong counterattack. Worse, the vaccine boosters might not even induce any effect in people at high risk of severe infection.

Pfizer’s COVID-19 Vaccine Goes Into Liver Cells and Is Converted to DNA: Study

The messenger RNA (mRNA) from Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine is able to enter human liver cells and is converted into DNA, according to Swedish researchers at Lund University.
The researchers found that when the mRNA vaccine enters the human liver cells, it triggers the cell’s DNA, which is inside the nucleus, to increase the production of the LINE-1 gene expression to make mRNA.
The mRNA then leaves the nucleus and enters the cell’s cytoplasm, where it translates into LINE-1 protein. A segment of the protein called the open reading frame-1, or ORF-1, then goes back into the nucleus, where it attaches to the vaccine’s mRNA and reverse transcribes into spike DNA.
Reverse transcription is when DNA is made from RNA, whereas the normal transcription process involves a portion of the DNA serving as a template to make an mRNA molecule inside the nucleus.
“In this study we present evidence that COVID-19 mRNA vaccine BNT162b2 is able to enter the human liver cell line Huh7 in vitro,” the researchers wrote in the study, published in Current Issues of Molecular Biology. “BNT162b2 mRNA is reverse transcribed intracellularly into DNA as fast as 6 [hours] after BNT162b2 exposure.”
BNT162b2 is another name for the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine that is marketed under the brand name Comirnaty.
The whole process occurred rapidly within six hours. The vaccine’s mRNA converting into DNA and being found inside the cell’s nucleus is something that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said would not happen.…
