Chinese President Xi Jinping landed in Moscow on Monday, beginning a state visit where, analysts said, economic ties and the war in Ukraine are expected to dominate the agenda.
This is Xi’s first foreign trip after being re-elected for a rare third term. Russia was also the first country he visited after he was elected president in 2013.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Friday that the two leaders would discuss the “further development of comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation between Russia and China” during Xi’s trip, which lasts until Wednesday.
Military-technical cooperation and energy issues will be high on the agenda.
They will sign a joint statement on a plan to develop key areas of Russian-Chinese economic cooperation until 2030, according to Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.
The two sides also plan to sign “more than 10” documents on various areas of cooperation, Ushakov told a press briefing.
The international focus is on the Ukraine war as Beijing last month released a 12-point position on the political settlement of the Ukraine crisis.
President Xi’s visit “will uphold an objective and fair position on the Ukraine crisis and play a constructive role in promoting talks for peace,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said on Friday.
Also on Friday, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin for war crimes related to the suspected abductions of children from Ukraine.
Analysts say the warrant would not affect Xi’s visit in any significant ways because both Russia and China are not state parties of the Rome Statute and do not recognize the court’s jurisdiction.

The videos of Chinese illegal immigrants come just days after China’s communist leader Xi Jinping pledged to build his military “into a great wall of steel” against the United States as tensions between the two nations continue to escalate.
Footage shared on Twitter by Fox News correspondent Griff Jenkins shows CBP agents releasing Chinese nationals in Brownsville, Texas. CBP sources told Jenkins that they are released with “notices to appear” because “there are so many crossing and no more space to house them.”

CBP agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector have recorded a 900 percent increase in encounters with illegal immigrants from communist China when compared to the same period last year, Fox News reported.
In February 2022, border agents encountered 55 Chinese nationals. In February 2023, that number surged to 1,368….

Xi to Putin: Russia, China Are Driving Change ‘Which Hasn’t Happened in 100 Years’

Chinese communist leader Xi Jinping says that his regime and Vladimir Putin’s Russia are working together to drive forward a “change” that hasn’t been seen on the world stage in a century.
Putin had been hosting Xi in Moscow as a guest of honor this week as the two authoritarian powers continue to commit to increasing diplomatic, economic, and military cooperation.
As Xi left the Kremlin on March 22, he turned to Putin and said with a smile: “This is exactly, right now, the change which hasn’t happened in 100 years.
“And it is we, together, who are driving these changes forward.”
Putin replied, “I agree.”
“Please take care, dear friend,” Xi said before the two shook hands.
Putin then wished Xi a safe journey and waved goodbye to the Chinese leader from the sidewalk as Xi left in his state car.
The two leader’s parting exchange was captured on camera by media outlets.
China, Russia Vow to Create New World Order
The statement comes a day after the leaders openly pledged to reshape the international order to their interests, with Putin saying that China and Russia would create a more just “multipolar world order” to replace the “rules” of the current international order.
Xi’s reference to a change not seen in a century may be an allusion to the cementing of the modern rules-based international order that started to take shape after World War I, with the United States eventually emerging as a superpower.
Also around a century ago, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), which now rules China as a single-party state, was founded. Years earlier, the Bolsheviks vanquished the last remnants of the White Army and solidified the Soviet Union, in which Putin would later serve as a lieutenant colonel of the military’s foreign intelligence service.
Xi and Putin first declared a “no limits” partnership in February 2022, weeks before Russia launched its attempted conquest of Ukraine….

The US claims Iran’s Revolutionary Guard and its affiliate groups support terrorist organizations. US weapons stockpile 13 years behind in Stinger missile production amid Ukraine war
As the U.S. continues providing Ukraine with billions of dollars in weapons and other aid, concerns have been raised about how best to manage and improve the United States’ domestic stockpile of weapons, which is rapidly dwindling amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
According to the New York Times, it would take the United States 13 years to replace all the stinger misses sent to Ukraine at the current production rate.
Raytheon, the company that makes Javelin missile systems, has even come out and said it would take at least five years at last year’s same production rate to fully replenish the number of missiles sent to the Ukranian battlefield over the previous ten months.
According to the Washington Post, the U.S. currently produces roughly 14,000 rounds of 155mm ammunition every month, and Ukraine has reportedly used that amount in only 48 hours of fighting….

“As long as the CCP is in power, we will have this forever war on a continuum. It’s not a win or lose, it’s gonna be a constant pressure on the free world that we have to deal with,” Casey Fleming, CEO of intelligence and security strategy firm BlackOps Partners, recently told the “China in Focus” program on NTD, the sister media outlet of The Epoch Times.

Interestingly curiorus thing happened…
When the AMN article first came in on messenger while on computer, the video had no “age-restriction”. Put it out on on five social media sites, then included it into this blog. That’s when I found it restricted about one hour later and went back to check FB and others.
